Going All in for Youth: Collaborations for Success

National Safe Place Network (NSPN) was honored to host Focus 2021 on Tuesday, July 27th through Thursday, July 29th, at Westgate Resort in Las Vegas. The theme, “Going All in for Youth: Collaborations for Success,” emphasizes how NSPN’s motto of “Together we can” drives the foundational concept of doing better, together. Alone, you have an idea, and together, we turn the ideas of our network into a source of solutions for youth, families, organizations, and communities.

NSPN raised the stakes at Focus 2021 by bringing together a group of professionals committed to the following values:

  •  Positive change,
  •  Systems engagement, and
  •  Meaningful collaboration.

NSPN went all-in with youth service providers to help youth and families, build innovative programs, and develop community responses to unmet needs. Focus 2021 featured the voice, experience, knowledge, and ideas of a diverse network of individuals dedicated to keep youth safe.

NSPN strategically reduced the size of the event to 100 participants. This exclusive convene allowed for deeper conversations about challenges the youth services field experience and ideas for better collaboration to make larger impacts on a local, state, and national level. Within 48 hours of opening registration for Focus 2021, 60% of seats were sold. The event sold out within a couple weeks.

Two continuing education units (CEUs) were made available to Focus 2021 participants and all attendees received a certificate of attendance with 20 contact hours.
