About NSPN

Ensuring an effective system of response for youth in crisis through public and private partnerships at a local, state and national level.

National Safe Place Network envisions a world where all youth are safe.

National Safe Place Network (NSPN) provides quality training and technical support for youth and family service organizations across the country. As a membership organization, NSPN offers an array of services tailored to meet agency needs in the most cost-efficient manner. These services include individual site visits, conferences, online training curricula, grant reviews, and more. NSPN is committed to agency growth and development, education, professional training and youth advocacy work.

In 2013, National Safe Place (NSP) and the Youth and Family Services Network (YFSN), formerly the Southeastern Network, joined together to form NSPN. NSP and YFSN had a long-standing relationship with one another. During the past 10 years, both organizations hosted three major conferences and worked together on several projects. In 2012, NSP and YFSN collaborated to operate the Runaway and Homeless Youth Training and Technical Assistance Center (RHYTTAC).
