Partnering to Protect: Keeping Kids Safe from Exploitation and Trafficking in our Communities
Join Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) and National Safe Place Network (NSPN) for a virtual session highlighting the ways that transit agencies, truck stops and other businesses and organizations can protect youth from trafficking and exploitation in their communities. The session will feature testimony from a survivor of child sex trafficking and will highlight accessible strategies and resources for addressing the topic. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of the realities of human trafficking in the United States and specific resources TAT and NSPN offer to communities to better prevent, identify and respond to potential cases of child trafficking.
