Prepare for Grant Season in 2024
National Safe Place Network (NSPN) is hosting two events to support grant writers of various skill sets in early 2024. GrantED 101: New Grant Writers' Seminar provides a first-step overview of key competencies, definitions, and work practices which can support a new grant writer or someone interested in adding this skill to their professional toolkit. The Grant Writers' Virtual Skill-Building Retreat is available for those grant writers who are looking to focus on enhancing existing skills and learning new approaches, engaging with colleagues, and practicing self-care prior to the onset of the 2024 grant season.
Registration for both trainings is now open. Click here to learn more information about GrantED 101: New Grant Writers' Seminar and the Grant Writers' Virtual Skill-Building Retreat.

2024 Emerging Leaders Institute
The Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI) is an interactive, web-based, six-week event for emerging leaders of youth and family service organizations to focus on the skills needed to support ongoing success. ELI sessions are facilitated by experienced leaders who will assist participants in supportive and engaging ways. Dates for the Spring and Fall session are set and registration will soon open.

Will you Support their Journey to Safety?
Right now, in your community, there are youth, like Amaya, who desperately need your help accessing safety. Prior to the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), Safe Place® provided a safety net for youth who were dealing with bullying, suicidal thoughts, homelessness, abuse, and neglect. Today, due to COVID-19, families are experiencing intensified containment measures and children are at a heightened risk of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and domestic violence. Situations like this can easily leave a young person needing someone to talk to – or a young person needing a safe place to go. There are many young people who have sought out safety from Safe Place. You can read about their “Journey to Safety” here. Your monetary contribution will help provide access to safety for youth in your community. Are you willing to help?

NSPN Partners for "Youth in Focus" Collaborative
